Situational Analysis UNICEF of Elimu-Ajira-Maisha Baseline Survey (Start date 2018)

UNICEF Kenya programme through its Education Outcome Group and in cooperation with the Government of Kenya under the current framework of the Country Programme Agreement 2018-2022, and in collaboration with various Implementing Partners, has been supporting various flagship interventions with the objective of increasing accessibility to quality education for marginalized individuals as well as vulnerable groups. The interventions range from strengthening service delivery, policy dialogue, evidence generation and capacity development across Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE), Primary, Secondary education and also providing humanitarian support through education in emergency. UNICEF Kenya Country Office, contracted ZiziAfrique to carry out a situation analysis of adolescent/youth employability status in Kenya. The finding arising from the situational analysis plays an essential role in reviewing and developing policy that is essential in enhancing learning, employability, as well as participation among adolescents.
